Nepal is a land locked Asian country lies in Southern Asia between China (from North) and India (from east, south and west). Nepal is well known for the Himalayan ranges that lies throughout the country and is the homeland to eight highest peaks among the ten highest peak of the world including Mount Everest (8,848 m). Similarly the second richest country in water resource.

Nepal is one of the poorest and least-developed country in the world as one third of the total population is under the poverty line. The economy is largely depend on the agriculture. Beside this a large portion of the economy of Nepal is supported by the remittance as many Nepalese are in foreign countries for employment purpose this include the people between the ages 20 to 45. Children are more vulnerable, particularly when combined with poverty, as they can fall prey to abuse, exploitation and neglect. There is still the practice of untouchability and injustice among the people based on the race, religion, disabilities and social status. Most of the people are away from their basic rights of food, shelter and clothing, mostly in rural areas.

The 18th century was regarded as the gateway of the modern Nepal. Before that, Nepal was not unified and was separated into many small kingdoms. The civil war was held by the Maoist Party for a decade which plays a vital role to throw away the monarchy in May 2008 and was replaced by Federal Democratic Republic. The country which was once known as the only Hindu country became the secular democratic republic then after. The Legislative Election 2017 which was held on 26 November and 7 December has promulgate the country divided into 7 states and 77 districts (before 5 development region and 75 districts).
